Business Development Manager or Account Manager

DataEdge Consulting, Inc. is an Information Technology firm specialized in providing software project execution and consulting services to the Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Retail, Distribution and other industries for over a decade. We providing software development & customization services in the areas of Enterprise applications, Digital Analytics, Business Intelligence, Cloud or Mobile application development.

DataEdge Consulting intends to expand its presence by adding to our team of Account Managers and take advantage of available opportunities in the IT marketplace. We are seeking intelligent, goal oriented, resourceful individuals with superb social and communicative skills, who are driven by both professional and financial success. You will be calling on corporate leaders (both in IT and Procurement) of large to mid-level companies in an attempt to assist them in deploying enterprise level software solutions, and opening opportunities to use our services.

With an established presence in the Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Healthcare, Retail and Technology, we are constantly looking for excellent talent who can be part of our growth.

This position is responsible for:

  • a full-life cycle sales program including research, cold-calling, relationship building, overcoming objections & developing new customers within existing client companies as well as new client companies.
  • clients and generating revenues (both software development & workforce staffing) in Finance, Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, Clinical, Scientific, technology, and supply chain applications.
  • developing and closing sales contracts for services through direct Client SOW, T&M or managed capacity projects and through MSP channel relationships
  • implementing, and managing a business / sales plan for the given region. Attain assigned sales quota
  • calling, developing and qualifying prospects, and generating new clients using various social media and CRM tools
  • existing clients accounts to identify new opportunities and maximize staffing sales and service delivery to the account
  • to face visits and presentations to top customers, prospects and partners working with procurement, sourcing and hiring directors and managers.
  • with various MSP/VMS and vendor managers to grow sales and new opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of successful business to business solution sales experience with a documented track record of building sales results from the ground up.
  • Experience as an Account Manager in an IT staffing & solutions company where incentive compensation was directly tied to sales results.
  • Established professional network of individuals in Information Technology, Project Management, Finance and Accounting and the ability to bring in new business through your contacts and past relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal, rapport building, listening and oral and written communications skills..
  • Ability to create and deliver informal and formal presentations in a polished and professional manner.
  • An engaging, ambitious, persuasive, success-oriented and goal-driven personality.
  • Proven success working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • High-level of professionalism, integrity and ethics in all business dealings.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Internet research and MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
