Role: System Administrator Architect
Location: Dallas TX- onsite
Duration: Long-term Contract
Job Description:
Windows Server, Azure Architect and Administration, VMWare, Hands-on-experience with HP & Dell Servers, DC operations - 60%
Active Directory, VMware to Cloud Migration expertise & Automation (PowerShell / Ansible / Terraform), DNS and Group policy management - 40%
ITIL framework and good communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience/knowledge on Citrix, Microsoft Entra ID, SCCM
- Azure VDI and AWS workspaces.
- Expertise and Architect in Windows Server Administration, VMWare, Azure Architect and Administration, Citrix and Active Directory.
- Proven expertise in designing and architecting domain consolidation projects, Cloud Virtual Machines landscape and Landing zones.
- Design and architect a global Active Directory Infrastructure, including, design and implementation of Group Policy, domain consolidation for large scale organizations.
- Design and Architect VMWare solutioning and able to handle On-prem to cloud migration projects.
- SME level support on Windows, VMware, Cloud Infrastructure, and advanced troubleshooting as mandatory
- Install, Manage, Configure, decommissioning of all Azure IAAS components including Compute, storage, network, Cloud cost management.
- Experience in installing, Configuring & Trouble shooting ESXi including provisioning, VM builds, Configuring and Managing Virtual Switches, Data stores
- Collaborate and communicates with architects with internal departments and vendor partners, Client Partners and able to deliver the solution on Cloud\VMWare\Windows Servers.
- Experience in DC Ops, Data rooms and Hardware solutioning with storage skills on Pure & HP MSA.
- Managing VMware (or Hyper V) cluster, HA, FT and DRS, DR using VMWare SRM in the environment
- Performing Snapshots, Cloning, Cold Migrations and Hot Migrations, patch management activities
- Automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform
- Plan and execute Active Directory Domain level upgrades.
- Plan and design Group Policy Objects as requested to ensure compliance of company policies for servers and user end-point devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, GPO, Active Directory Federated Services, and password/identity management systems.
