As an Engineered Solutions Business Database Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain product database systems that support business operations. You will combine database development skills with analytical expertise to extract applicable insights and improve data workflows across departments. You will report to the Sr. Director of Product Management and Growth. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain relational databases and data models that support business processes and reporting requirements
  • Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support data integration, transformation and analysis
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
  • Develop dashboards, reports and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security through validation checks and best practices
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities and process improvements
  • Maintain documentation for database structures, workflows and technical processes
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, IT, sales, regional BUs, finance, EPMO and GOS, to align data strategies with business goals

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in database development (SQL Server, MySQL, or similar)
  • Strong SQL programming skills; experience with ETL processes and data integration
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and reporting
  • Understanding of business operations, KPIs and financial metrics
