Job Duties Engineering Focus
- Lead development of engineering objectives, testing, issue analysis, and problem-solving.
- Plan and design systems and facilities: lines, substations, interconnections, system protection.
- Design system upgrades, restoration plans, and modifications aligned with regulations.
- Conduct or lead research on emerging technologies, including DERs, storage, metering, and field equipment.
- Develop technical roadmaps, multi-year plans, and budget estimates.
- Track project progress and cost performance.
- Define and implement engineering standards, methods, and equipment specifications.
- May act as project manager with accountability for results across cross-functional teams/vendors.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in engineering or technical/scientific field (required).
- Master s Degree in a related technical field (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred; required for some roles by regulation.
- 1 3 years of experience in engineering with advanced knowledge in a specific domain.
- Strong understanding of codes, standards, and engineering practices.
Senior Technology Architect Cloud & Integration Responsibilities
- Support Technology Enablement and Analytics initiatives focused on automation, AI, and innovation.
- Align enterprise technology architecture with evolving business needs.
- Deliver cross-platform and multi-domain architecture solutions.
- Collaborate on AI-driven capabilities to boost platform performance, UX, and efficiency.
- Provide strategic insight through analytics and portfolio planning.
- Present strategies and updates to executive leadership.
Required Technical Skills
- SAP: Cloud Integration, HANA Cloud, SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Integration & Architecture: IBM DataPower, Azure API Management, API & cross-platform architecture frameworks
- Other Tech: Microsoft stack, Oracle, SQL, Snowflake, eDMRM, OpenText
- Analytics: Expertise in using analytics for performance optimization and strategic planning
- AI & Automation: Ability to enable AI-based features, improve automation and user experience
Strategic & Project Management Skills
- Proficient in portfolio planning and aligning technology initiatives to business goals.
- Expertise in advanced project management methodologies.
- Skilled in strategy development and delivering innovative solutions.
