Job Description

You will be a Systems Integration & Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL, supporting RF Antenna Testing and systems integration and test activities. Our team is responsible for ensuring the successful integration and testing of complex systems, and you will play a key role in developing and executing sub-system and system level integration plans and procedures.

What You Will Be Doing
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer with Radio Frequency (RF) Antenna engineering, integration, and test experience to drive technical excellence, commonality, affordability, and producibility across multiple cross-functional and cross-program boundaries to develop novel RF Sensor Technologies for the RF Sensor Product Center (RFSPC).

This position requires excellent leadership skills and the candidate is expected to work under very general supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:
Creating test plans based on structural engineering and RF Subject Matter Expert (SME) inputs.
Coordinate with test facilities and with personnel from different functional areas to prepare the needed resources for successful completion of testing.
Work with RF SME to review and reduce data, forming reports with test summaries and recommendations to the design team.
Development of program deliverables, supporting program meetings and reporting, and supporting customer meetings and periodic program reviews.
Prepare and support technical interchange meetings, customer design reviews, Test Readiness Reviews.
Provides troubleshooting leadership, identify cause and corrective action to resolve technical production problems and develop re-test instructions when needed.
Identify and lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operations.
Ensure that configuration management is maintained with all documentation.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent STEM degree with RF experience, with 9 years of professional experience or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered an emerging authority.
Working knowledge of RF Principles (e.g., S-parameters, gain, noise figure)
At least 2 years of experience in a integration and test, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Demonstrated experience with basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills with the ability to teach others.

Desired skills

Technical Writing: Ability to create clear, concise, and well-structured test plans, test logs, and test reports.
Engineering team leadership experience including task planning, control account management (CAM), subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
Demonstrate the ability to coordinate with different disciplines to fabricate, integrate, and test flight hardware.
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.
Deliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
Ability to verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
Demonstrated experience working with structural engineering and RF testing principles, including test equipment, test procedures, and test data analysis.
Experience conducting RF sensor testing, including antenna pattern testing, performance validation, and signal characterization
Experience preparing and leading Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Mission Success Reviews
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
