Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Software Developer III within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive web applications using React and .NET.
- Write clean, scalable code using React framework and C#.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers for user-friendly interfaces.
- Conduct code reviews and implement security and performance best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide guidance.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot, revise, update, refactor, and debug code, maintaining thorough documentation.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and improve existing applications.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for integration.
- Ensure secure and efficient data exchange and collaborate with third-party services.
- Use Git for code management and assist in application deployment.
- Monitor and support applications post-deployment.
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical support.
- Share knowledge and assist in onboarding new team members.
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4 + years of experience in IT industry
- 4 + years of proven experience designing solutions using React, CSS, HTML, and other front-end technologies.
- 4 +years experience in front-end UI development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js, React, and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Write JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS code in collaboration with the design team.
- Proficient understanding of the React framework and its core principles.
- 4+ years of proven experience designing solutions in .NET.
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns.
- Proficient with developing RESTful ASP.NET web API services.
- Strong knowledge of C# and hands-on project experience using SOLID principles.
- Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
- Experience developing on the Docker platform (containers and Docker Compose) with .NET.
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC), microservices, and SOA.
- Understanding of interactive web applications and single-page applications using React.
- Good understanding of on-premise/cloud hosting and deployment practices.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Strong experience in Azure DevOps, code management, and release management.
The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $85,000.00 - $120,000.00.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 individual contributor in a Software Development position.
