Job Details
Job Title: Scrum Master with Risk or Capital Market Exp.
Interview: In-Person(Face-To-Face Only)
Work Location: New York, NY 10020 (Day One Onsite)
Must Have:
- 10+ Years' experience as scrum Master
- Expert in managing JIRA boards
- Market Risk concepts
- Knowledge of Financial and Derivatives related Risk concepts Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk etc.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, ensuring agile practices are followed and understood.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Assist in tracking and removing impediments, fostering an environment for high team performance and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Manage project scope and timeline.
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
- Work with development team on continuous improvement
- Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates for the ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with other project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a PM or SM in IT with more than 5 years in Financial Institutions (Capital Markets projects, NOT Retail or Banking side)
- Expertise in writing user stories with good acceptance criteria in JIRA
- Good understanding of ETL and Data warehouse concepts with some hands on experience with data analysis
- Expert in managing JIRA boards, Dashboards, Confluence pages, Excel reporting, and creating and tracking KPIs
- Good communication and presentation skills
