Job Title: PeopleSoft Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) Higher Education
Location:
Remote Duration: 12 months+

Job description:

The PeopleSoft PM/BA will lead projects while serving as the primary liaison between technical teams and campus stakeholders. This role emphasizes documenting business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications, ensuring PeopleSoft implementations and enhancements align with institutional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements, process workflows, and functional specifications.
  • Create use cases, process maps, and test scripts to support PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, and customizations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and stakeholder reports.
  • Facilitate workshops, user interviews, and requirement validation sessions.
  • Coordinate with systems architects, developers, and automation engineers to ensure all designs and solutions meet documented requirements.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure alignment with functional documentation.
  • Ensure proper change management and communication across departments.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft experience in a higher education environment.
  • Strong skills in documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft modules (HRMS, Finance, Campus Solutions).
  • PMP, CBAP, or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
