Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Math Science, Computer Science, Public Administration, Business Administration or data/analytical related field.
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible information technology experience, including five (5) years in a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs, manages, and oversees the operations of the City's IT Department.
- Develops and maintains the Information Technology Plan which defines the IT Strategy and associated projects; develops the City's IT architecture.
- Proactively embraces AI, cloud, data analytics, and new business models, leading organization-wide change to keep pace with citizen expectations and technological disruption.
- Authorizes and oversees the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software based on city-wide needs.
- Incorporates the use of established IT best practice frameworks to enhance service delivery.
- Maintains City compliance with all City, County, State and Federal IT-related laws and industry regulations such as CJIS and PCI.
