Position Title: Software Engineering Specialist
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Description of Duties:
The Software Engineering Specialist supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Development, installation, configuration, and verification of various applications on Linux or Windows environments on the Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA) team
Work with government customers, internal IRES stakeholders, system administrators, and engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions
Investigate and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing user support to resolve system issues
Assist with team planning meetings to plan deliverables and remove obstacles
Develop and present briefings to various government and internal stakeholders
Develop and submission of various Task Order CDRLs and reports (TOSRs, CPARs, proposal deliverables, Earned Value reporting)
The successful candidate will:
Have strong written and verbal communications skills
Be an enthusiastic, dynamic self-starter able to own issues to conclusion

Basic Requirements:
Must have a bachelor's degree, or higher
Must have 1, or more, years of direct experience
Must have 2, or more, years of experience on the IRES contract supporting a development team
Must have a Java 8 Oracle certification
Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+)
Must have an understanding of programming languages (ex: Python, Java, Pearl, C++)
Must have knowledge of networking configurations in a mixed Linux and Windows environment
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
This position is expected to pay $100,000 - $115,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
