Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified lighting professional. This is a fully remote position based in the Southeast U.S., tasked with growing our presence there. The ideal candidate will exemplify a strong focus on leveraging their extensive specifier relationships to generate business. The main responsibility for this role is to write and manage specifications with our agency partners. We are growing! We have experienced excellent continuous growth and, as a result, we are expanding our sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed Regional Sales Budgets while maintaining a detailed pipeline of business and providing accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
- Meet regularly with sales agents to establish rapport, strong communication, and relationships
- Conduct independent and joint calls with specifiers, GCs, end users, and distributors
- Evaluate Agent performance, motivate and train sales personnel
- Participate in industry events and networking
- Identify territory trends and customer needs
- Cross lighting schedules from competitor products to our products.
- Interpret project reflective ceiling plans (RCPs), drawings, lighting schedules, and takeoffs.
Your Experience & Qualifications Include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Lighting Sales and/or Lighting Design-related field
- Proven ability to manage a detailed sales pipeline utilizing CRM software. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Membership in industry networking groups, such as (list some)
- Prior experience in managing sales territories and conducting joint calls with specifiers, GCs, end users, and distributors
- Proven ability to meet or exceed Regional Sales Budgets
