Job Details

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Automotive Retail Domain and Dealership Management Systems (DMS) to join our consulting team. In this role, you will help shape the future of car dealership operations by analyzing existing ecosystems, identifying gaps, and designing strategies that deliver measurable improvements in revenue, efficiency, and customer experience.

Job Title: Principal Consultant (Business Analyst Automotive DMS)
Location: Portland, Oregon, USA (Remote)
Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of dealership software platforms (DMS) including features, workflows, integrations, and user experience.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and identify opportunities for transformation.
  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and pain points.
  • Propose transformation initiatives supported by detailed business cases (ROI, revenue uplift, cost savings, efficiency gains).
  • Create future-state process maps, solution designs, and KPIs.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to influence product roadmaps.
  • Support client presentations, product demos, and workshops.
  • Track post-implementation performance and recommend refinements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within SaaS, automotive retail, or enterprise software environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and dealership operations.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering measurable business outcomes through transformation projects.
  • Solid experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
