Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects in the banking domain, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with banking business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Identify project risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and documentation specific to the banking industry.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Finance, or related field (Master s degree preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or similar certification is highly recommended.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the banking or financial services domain.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects within the banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and IT governance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
