- The Production Support Analyst is responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for the various system users and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with other team members as well as work independently to be able to resolve issues.
- Responds to user requests and incident tickets requiring application-level intervention.
- Monitors team ticket queue and email inbox and works to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation.
- Troubleshoot minor and major system issues in a timely manner and escalate to our Vendor when necessary. This includes system and/or data related issues.
- Collect and provide reporting applications health and usage metrics.
- Work with team members, Vendors, system/database administrators, and end users to resolve issues.
- Participate in periodic meetings and maintain all applications for productions and plan appropriate various strategies.
- Must be able to quickly work through situations to determine impacts.
- Performing operational tasks (monitor logs and job statuses to confirm successful completion)
Skills required:
- Good verbal/written communication skills with attention to detail
- Reading/Writing SQL Queries
- Splunk
- Dynatrace monitoring both application and database servers
- Ability to navigate Windows Servers and IIS configurations
- Ability to read and navigate application and system Log files
