Job Title: ServiceNow Administrator

Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid Chicago (near Airport)

CIMA Consulting Group is hiring a ServiceNow Administrator for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity with a financial services organization based in Chicago. This is a key role on a collaborative and skilled internal team, supporting the ongoing growth and optimization of their ServiceNow environment.

We re looking for someone who brings strong technical experience across multiple ServiceNow modules, a proactive mindset, and the ability to contribute independently with minimal direction. This is not a task-taker role our client values resourcefulness, critical thinking, and the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.

What You ll Do:

  • Provide day-to-day administration and user support within the ServiceNow platform
  • Manage user permissions, access rights, and governance policies
  • Develop and deliver training for users at all levels (end user, power user, admin)
  • Support and enhance a wide range of ServiceNow modules including:
    ITAM, ITOM, ITSM, IH, SPM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, Incident, Demand, Request, and Change
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate data and applications into ServiceNow
  • Participate in the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow workflows and solutions
  • Monitor system performance and apply upgrades as needed
  • Maintain system documentation and support change control processes
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors as needed and support project planning documentation

What We re Looking For:

  • Strong hands-on ServiceNow administration experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Broad exposure to multiple ServiceNow modules (listed above)
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant oversight
  • Clear communicator who can ask the right questions and offer recommendations
  • Critical thinker with a solution-focused approach
  • Experience with system integrations and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable in a hybrid work environment with at least two days per week onsite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
    (or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and ITIL practices
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification (preferred)
