Full Stack Developer
The Opportunity:

As a Full Stack Developer on our AI-as-a-Service ( AIaaS ) Platform Team, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling an innovative platform at the intersection of cloud-native development and cutting-edge AI technologies.

We're seeking a developer with strong backend engineering skills in distributed systems and microservices, complemented by solid frontend capabilities. While you'll work across the full stack, your primary impact will be architecting scalable APIs and business logic that power our platform.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with sof tware development, including building modern, scalable sof tware using agile met hodologies
  • 3+ years of experience architecting and shipping high-scale, low-latency distributed microservices in production
  • Experience with Golang, Java, or Python
  • Experience with gRPC or RESTful API design and implementation
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application development
  • Experience building tools and processes to mature DevOps or DevSecOps workflows, automating builds, regression tests, deployments, and monitoring
  • Experience building systems and platforms compliant with standards such as FedRAMP Moderate, SOC 2, or HIT RUS T
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming ( OOP ) principles, front-end development frameworks, including React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS, and cloud technologies such as AWS and NoSQL database architectures
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with TypeScript and scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience with Kubernetes tooling such as Helm or infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Experience building or maintaining UI component libraries and contributing to design systems
  • Knowledge of with AWS-specific tools such as CloudWatch, OpenSearch, GuardDuty, Macie, or AWS CDK
  • Ability to ideate and deliver high-quality solutions collaboratively
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality through peer reviews
  • Possession of excellent communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
