Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in AWS Cloud Firewall technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS network security solutions, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. Experience with AWS WAF is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS Cloud Firewall solutions to secure cloud environments.
• Act as the SME for AWS network security, providing guidance and best practices across teams.
• Configure and optimize AWS WAF for application-level protection against common web exploits.
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, security policies, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and security teams to integrate firewall solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and risk exposure.
• Stay current with emerging AWS security services and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3+ years focused on AWS cloud security.
• Proven expertise in AWS Network Firewall, Security Groups, NACLs, and VPC configurations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS WAF and related security services.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) for firewall deployments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid network architectures.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools and incident response processes.
