Key Details:



  • Direct Hire/Perm

  • Location: Hybrid in Manhattan Beach OR remote (if remote must be willing to travel to the office monthly or quarterly)

  • 30% Product Management, 30% Salesforce Team Leadership, 40% Solutioning/Architecting

  • Requirements: ideally 10+ years in Salesforce, with strong CRM and Service Cloud experience, background in wholesale or retail sales cycles

  • Salary: up to $185k

  • No C2C or sponsorship


Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Leadership:



  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps for Salesforce and other enterprise applications, aligning them with overall business strategy and goals

  • Lead regular stakeholder meetings to gather feedback, prioritize requests, and communicate product updates

  • Develop and present business cases for new initiatives or major upgrades to executive leadership

  • Stay current with industry trends, including AI and machine learning, identifying implementation opportunities within enterprise applications


Product Development and Management:



  • Collaborate with technical teams on design, development, configuration, and feature enhancements for all managed applications

  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, including configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment

  • Manage integrations between different platforms and technologies, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive product documentation, including user guides and training materials


Performance Optimization and Analysis:



  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each application to measure success and drive continuous improvement

  • Conduct regular analysis on feature performance, user satisfaction, and overall application efficiency

  • Identify and implement optimization opportunities to maximize ROI and user experience


Team and Resource Management:



  • Oversee day-to-day execution, planning, and resource allocation for application teams

  • Manage project backlogs and facilitate backlog grooming sessions with development teams

  • Foster personnel development and maintain high-performance standards within the team


Vendor and Stakeholder Management:



  • Participate in vendor management, including tool evaluation, contract negotiation, and relationship management

  • Collaborate with data science and AI teams to implement advanced solutions within enterprise applications

  • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure all applications meet security standards and compliance requirements


Change Management and User Adoption:



  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new features and applications across the organization

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions for end-users and IT team members

  • Continuously gather and incorporate user feedback to improve application usability and effectiveness


Application Portfolio Management:



  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications, including but not limited to Salesforce products, customer service platforms (e.g., Freshdesk), data backup solutions (e.g., OwnBackup), and other critical business systems

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in managing various applications as assigned, regardless of their direct relation to Salesforce

  • Quickly learn and become proficient in new applications as they are added to the portfolio


Qualifications:



  • Recommended Salesforce Certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I & II, Application Architect, System Architect

  • Expertise in client-side (Lightning Web Component, JavaScript, HTML, Visualforce, CSS) & server-side (Apex) expertise

  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, VS Code).

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third party systems via web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in relation to Salesforce core and other enterprise applications

  • Knowledge of AI-powered features in Salesforce (e.g., Einstein Analytics, Prediction Builder) and other enterprise applications

  • Experience with configuration of advanced features in Amazon Connect, Service Cloud Voice, Einstein features, Tableau, chat bot, Retail Execution

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-directed and comfortable working in fast-paced environments

  • Able to solve complex problems and offer new perspectives on existing solutions

  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office and product management tools (i.e. Atlassian suite)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, including resource allocation, successful onboarding, fostering professional growth, and maintaining high performance standards through effective accountability measures


Work Experience:



  • Minimum 7 years professional experience in Salesforce ecosystems

  • Minimum 5 years Salesforce Service Cloud experience and Sale CRM

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning platform 5+ years (preferred)

  • Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud (preferred)

  • Experience implementing new instances of Salesforce and other applications for global implementation

  • Experience setting up and maintaining DevOps solution for multi-org code release


Job-Related Education:



  • S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience.
