Job Details

Title: Director of Cybersecurity
Location: Northeastern Region, USA (Onsite)

Description:
The Director of Cybersecurity will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and ongoing maturity of a comprehensive cybersecurity program. This includes overseeing governance, risk, and compliance; security operations; cloud security; identity and access management; and data protection. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders to embed security throughout digital and operational environments while guiding a skilled cybersecurity team.

Required Skills:
Minimum of 10 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure protection, access controls, and secure application architecture
Proven expertise in security governance, risk assessments, audit readiness, and compliance initiatives
Hands-on experience with data protection strategies, identity lifecycle management, and security operations
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SOX and ISO standards
Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure and modern cybersecurity technologies
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience with industry certifications

Desired Skills:
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CRISC
Experience with enterprise risk assessments, vendor security evaluations, and executive-level reporting
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance across industries and global operations
Ability to build a culture of security awareness through training and collaboration
