Job Details
This is a 100% onsite work position based in Tallahassee, FL. Apply only if you are willing to relocate.
Position: Sr. Technical Advisor
Education: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other Information Technology major, or equivalent work experience.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Information Technology Infrastructure Library [ITIL], Project Management Professional [PMP], etc.).
Required Experience:
- 12+ IT experience within one or more specialty areas
- Expertise surrounding information systems, networking theory, and architecture standards in areas of expertise;
- 15+ years of experience managing large-scale service deliveries, particularly in government or public-sector IT environments;
- Experience within corrections, law enforcement, or public safety domains is advantageous due to the unique challenges of managing high-risk communication flows and public engagement;
- Proven experience in a technical advisory or service delivery management role;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- In-depth knowledge of technical governance and industry best practices;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; and
- The role requires the ability to thrive under pressure, especially during critical project phases.
