We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer who will be responsible for the development and administration of solutions within client's ServiceNow environments, specifically for the Security Operations module.

The developer will work with members of the Cyber Fusion Center & Cyber Risk management groups within client, as well as with customers and external vendors to design, implement, test, document, and deploy enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes needed to support the enterprise. Daily activities will include developing solutions within ServiceNow, assisting with the integration of various security applications & tools with ServiceNow, system administration, report development and testing of the product and its sub-modules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand and document business and technical requirements.
  • Design, develop and configure workflows, forms, scripts and underlying logic using SCRUM / Agile methodologies to address requirements.
  • Participate in and support Security Operations modules for regular ServiceNow version upgrades.
  • Implementation, maintenance and customization of ServiceNow modules including: ITSM, Security Incident, Vulnerability Response & Threat Intelligence.
  • Integration of ServiceNow with other third-party tools using SOAP / REST web services.
  • Develop and produce reports to track and show statistics and metrics related to ticket processing.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of ServiceNow Development Experience
  • Advanced JavaScript programming experience.
  • Experience leading or heavily supporting at least one ServiceNow Security Operations implementation.
  • Deep understanding of the configuration management database (CMDB), IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, and their value/relevance to Security solutions.
  • Advanced functional and technical understanding of the ServiceNow Security suite.
  • Experience in data collection and representation of KPI and metrics dashboards
  • Strong organization and time management skills while working within a rapid software development environment.
  • Experience with integrating ServiceNow Security Operations with common SIEM tools (such as Splunk, Qualys, Tanium) through existing plugins and/or advanced custom-code integrations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to formulate and communicate highly technical and complex Security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Required)
  • ServiceNow Security Incident Response Implementation (Preferred)
  • ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Implementation (Preferred)
