Job Details

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer with strong Python programming expertise to join our QA and DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, and writing effective Bash/Shell scripts for automation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test automation scripts using Python.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Write and optimize Bash/Shell scripts to support automation tasks and infrastructure needs.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure robust testing and seamless deployments.
  • Debug and troubleshoot failures, log defects, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Create test documentation, reports, and contribute to overall automation strategy.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Python programming for test automation.
  • Solid understanding of test frameworks (e.g., PyTest, unittest).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, or similar.
  • Proficiency in writing and debugging Bash/Shell scripts in Linux/Unix environments.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience testing REST APIs, web applications, or backend systems.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus).
