Triumph is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our client's team in Richmond, VA. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst has primary IT responsibility for support of accounting and finance applications, including the firm's accounting system and associated systems including time entry, conflicts, collections, matter opening, and financial reporting. In addition to the accounting system administration and support, the position will develop and execute ad hoc queries, custom reports, data workflow processes, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary administration and support tasks related to the Elite 3E billing system. This can include but is not limited to:
    • Scheduled month-end maintenance periods
    • Upgrades to 3E, Time Tracking systems, and other related software systems.
    • Coordinate with database and application administrators on projects which are related to the billing system.
    • Develop and make modifications to 3E billing and check templates.
    • Provide 3rd level support and resolve escalated incidents for the Elite and Time Tracking systems.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for any 3E upgrades and works with the accounting team in developing the project plans for deployment of new technology; participates in new technology testing, deployment and support.
  • Provide support for other systems that integrate with 3E including Chrome River, ARCS, FOCCP, Electronic Records Destruction, Contract Time and Compass.
  • Coordinates with accounting and finance management, as well as IT management, to prioritize and address issues and objectives for financial systems
  • Responsible for testing financial system applications during system changes, enhancements, upgrades and monthly system maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in a corporate IT role, preferably supporting and customizing financial systems.
  • 3E and/or Elite experience is a plus
  • Solid technical foundation and strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher is preferred.
    • Strong T-SQL scripting experience
    • Familiarity with Query tools and SQL Server Reporting Services
    • Extract Transform Load (ETL)
  • Knowledge of relational databases required.
  • XML experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office 2016 or higher experience is required. Power User capabilities is preferred.
