Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong Wealth Management domain knowledge and backend cloud data processing experience. The ideal candidate will analyze complex financial datasets, support data quality initiatives, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable, cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse Wealth Management data, including portfolios, holdings, trades, transactions, and market/pricing data.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis of data issues.
- Define and implement data quality (DQ) rules and framework requirements.
- Work closely with data engineers to support backend data processing in AWS.
- Create reports and dashboards for business and operational teams.
- Write complex SQL queries and perform large-scale data analysis.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in the Wealth Management domain (AUM, portfolios, asset classes, client reporting).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
- Experience working with AWS cloud technologies (S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue).
- Experience designing or contributing to data quality rule engines and DQ monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Spark / PySpark.
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
