The Enterprise Agile Coach / SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) provides expert-level coaching, mentoring, and training in Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) practices. This role is responsible for leading the transformation of traditional software and systems development approaches into Lean-Agile operating models. The candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach Agile Release Trains, and influence leadership toward continuous improvement and cultural change. This role supports product development activities across a mission-critical national security contract.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on Agile coaching and mentorship to teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, iteration reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Develop and deliver training on Agile methodologies including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Act as a change agent, addressing resistance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate product development activities across the MNSS contract.
  • Promote DevOps practices and the continuous delivery pipeline (CDP) across development teams.
  • Build and support communities of practice and Agile learning forums.
  • Promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile roles (Agile Coach, Product Owner, Scrum Master) in enterprise environments.
  • Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Deep understanding of Lean-Agile principles and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience facilitating Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and mentoring Agile teams.
  • Proven ability to coach at all levels-team, program, and portfolio.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Conflict resolution and change management expertise.
  • Ability to inspire cultural transformation and Agile mindset shift.
  • Analytical thinking with a continuous improvement focus.
