Enterprise Architect will play an important role in shaping the architecture of the core IT solutions for all business lines in a hybrid and dynamic system landscape for North America. Enterprise Architect will drive the development of transition and target architectures from the application, data and technology perspective. Incumbent will ensure within our digital ecosystem the holistic end-to-end technology strategy and architectures including application interdependencies. Enterprise Architect North America will be an active participant to the global architecture committees at group level to represent the North America specificities and will contribute to the general framework. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to understand the long-term IT roadmap, and lead IT resources in the implementation of the agreed architecture.

responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply the Enterprise Architecture capabilities, particularly methodologies (e.g. TOGAF), IT landscape management, architecture tools (e.g. Avolution Abacus), architecture process (e.g. Architecture Reviews) and Architecture design (e.g. Architecture schemas using LucidChart)
- Develop our Enterprise Architecture blueprint for our digital ecosystem's business domain and the associated solution areas, considering the newest technologies and performing proof-of-concepts
- Communicate and align the overarching set of architecture Group/ Regional standards, principles, and whitepapers with stakeholders
- Presents their landscape strategy to the IT executive leadership, and using collaboration builds consensus on targets
- Develop proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed solutions
- Ensures compliance (IC, SOX, SOD, cyber-security...) of the recommended landscape
- Identify gaps between the baseline and target architecture
- Document the resulting roadmap and potential exceptions and highlight field of actions in the future.
- Complete and maintain the North America application portfolio using the Architecture tools and perform a regular application lifecycle management review.
qualifications:
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in IT application or similar required, Master's degree preferred - 18+ years of experience in implementing and supporting at least 3 large, complex full lifecycle IT projects - 7+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture - 5+ years of experience in Cloud architecture, APIs / Micro services architecture, Mobile/ Web/ ERP applications and Azure cloud platform - Knowledge of EA modelling, architectural methodologies and frameworks (eg TOGAF etc..) required - Knowledge of modern integration platforms and concept - Requires excellent project management, problem solving skills, effective clear communication
