This individual will be responsible for smart glass sensor bring-up/ characterization/ validation. This engineer will develop test systems to enable rapid evaluation and testing of sensor sub-systems.

We are looking for someone who understand I/O Sensor functionality and how we can validate on a form factor (Must Have)

Hands on experience with Python Scripting (Must Have)

Stronghold on Fixture understanding and integration to functional requirements (Must Have)

Looking for experience of around 8 years (Good To have)

Good Analytical and Problem Solving (by default)

Supporting the consumer wearables product line, this individual will be responsible for design and implementation of sensor subsystem validation testing systems. This role requires technical understanding of varied sensor and IO subsystems such as ALS, user LEDs, IMU, Magnetometers, capacitive touch, and IO components. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in approaches to testing and validating the performance of these subsystems and their interaction at the system level.

Job Responsibilities:

Specify and design validation testing systems for IO/Sensors measuring performance at module and system level.

Define and implement validation tests that measure the performance of IO/Sensors and how they interact at the system level.

Create automation test scripts for integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components.

Understands system HW/SW/FW interactions and drives test execution and debug with the cross-functional teams.

Coordinate and conduct validation testing, including the execution of test scripts, collection of data, data dashboarding, failure analysis and validation signoff.

Work with cross-functional teams (i.e., architecture, FW, EE, PD, RF, Sensor, etc., and product engineer teams) to generate validation reports and communicate technical risk with failure analysis
