Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator with a strong background in Microsoft technologies to manage, maintain, and optimize our on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Azure services, Active Directory, and endpoint management tools. Additionally the candidate should have a strong ability to learn new applications as they are integrated. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can balance day-to-day operations with project-based initiatives that enhance performance, reliability, and security across the IT ecosystem.

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator with a strong background in Microsoft technologies to manage, maintain, and optimize our on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, OneDrive).
- Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related identity management functions.
- Deploy and manage virtualized environments using Hyper-V and/or Azure Virtual Machines.
- Assist with cloud resource configuration and governance within Microsoft Azure.
- Support end-user systems and mobile device management through Intune or similar tools.
- Perform routine system monitoring, backup validation, and disaster recovery testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on security, networking, and application initiatives.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, firewalls).
- Demonstrated ability to manage patching, monitoring, and security compliance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MS-102, AZ-104, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with hybrid identity (Azure AD Connect, Entra ID).
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools (Veeam, Azure Backup).
- Exposure to ITIL practices or structured service management.
