Senior Oracle PPM Cloud Functional Consultant

Remote | Long-Term Contract | Oracle Fusion Cloud

If you love seeing projects run clean hours tracked correctly, costs landing where they should, revenue recognized on time, and leadership trusting the numbers this role will feel like home.

We re looking for a Senior Oracle PPM Cloud Functional Consultant who knows how to turn complex project and financial realities into a well-designed, smoothly running Oracle Fusion PPM solution. You ll be the connective tissue between Project Managers, Finance, and Accounting, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

This is not a configure-and-walk-away role. You ll be designing solutions that people actually rely on and get right the first time.


What You ll Be Doing

Own the PPM Functional Design

You ll take the lead on configuring and optimizing Oracle PPM modules so projects flow cleanly from kickoff to close.

  • Configure and enhance:

    • Project Costing

    • Project Billing

    • Project Contracts

    • Project Resource Management

  • Design solutions that scale, make sense to users, and hold up under audit


Translate Business Reality Into Oracle Logic

This is where your experience really shines.

  • Partner with Finance and Project stakeholders to:

    • Define project templates

    • Configure burdening and cost allocation

    • Align revenue recognition rules with corporate accounting standards

  • Make sure what the business expects is exactly what Oracle delivers


Keep PPM and Financials in Sync

Projects don t live in isolation and neither does your design.

  • Ensure clean, reliable integration between PPM and:

    • General Ledger

    • Accounts Payable

    • Accounts Receivable

  • Support accurate cost flow, billing, and financial reporting end to end


Turn Project Data Into Insight

Executives want answers you ll give them clarity.

  • Build and maintain project dashboards and reports using:

    • OTBI

    • BI Publisher

  • Surface project health, financial performance, and trends leadership can actually act on


Handle Data Migration Without the Drama

You ll oversee the movement of legacy project data into Oracle Cloud the right way.

  • Lead data migration using FBDI templates

  • Validate results so historical data is trustworthy and usable from day one


What You Bring

Functional & Financial Strength

  • Deep experience with Oracle PPM modules:

    • Project Costing

    • Project Billing

    • Project Contracts

    • Performance Reporting

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Subledger Accounting (SLA)

    • GAAP

    • Revenue Recognition (IFRS 15)

Tools & Integration Experience

  • Hands-on with OTBI, BI Publisher, BPM Workflows, FBDI

  • Experience integrating PPM using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or REST APIs


Qualifications

  • 5+ years working with Oracle Projects (EBS or Cloud)

  • At least two full-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or MIS

Nice-to-Have (Big Plus)

  • Oracle Cloud Project Management Implementation Professional certification
