Intro:
Device Librarian. Device IT support. Anything AWS would be nice to have not required. Someone is independent. Someone needs to be able to set up devices for a meeting- tablet, phone, Alexa. High visibility with executives.
Be able figure out errors- "somethings not working" error on a webpage. Figure out why there is an error using documents provided.
Technical Operations Contractor
Job Description:
Devices Design seeks a Technical Operations Contractor to handle device management and DevOps support for Alexa products across the board. This role combines prototype device handling, system administration, and cloud infrastructure work while providing friendly, patient support to internal team members who may be less technically savvy. The contractor will actively identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce complexity for the team. The contractor will work with devices of varying sizes and weights, from smaller items like tablets and laptops to larger devices like TVs. We need someone with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment with fluid business needs.
Must-Haves:
HS Diploma minimum, no bachelors required.
* 3+ years technical operations experience
* Command line proficiency (Linux, macOS, Windows)
* Device management and hardware support background preferred
* Proven track record of process improvement and workflow optimization
* Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions
* Ability to analyze current processes and recommend improvements
* Strong problem-solving under pressure
* Excellent attention to security protocols
* Independent work capability with fluid priorities
* Patient, helpful attitude when supporting less technical team members
Requirements:
* Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current device and cloud operations
* Propose and implement streamlined workflows for common tasks
* Develop automation solutions to reduce manual work
* Continuously evaluate and optimize existing processes for better efficiency
* Create standardized procedures to eliminate ad-hoc approaches
