Job Details
Job Title: IT Strategy Consultant
Location: Stamford, CT (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months Plus
Pay Range: $50/hr-$60/hr on W2 (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct extensive vendor research using prominent analyst research sources (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC).
- Analyze vendor products/services information, market trends, competitive positioning, customer and peer reviews.
- Manage intake and delivery of requests.
- Coordinate vendor engagement activities as needed to support engagement requests.
- Compile, summarize, and present findings in comprehensive and coherent manner.
- Produce high-quality reports and executive level briefings to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Maintain KPI data to support internal VEA delivery quality reviews.
- Develop standardized templates for reports to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and process materials.
- Regularly review and update materials to reflect changes in methodologies, industry standards, and organizational requirements.
- Ensure all documentation and materials comply with organizational policies and procedures.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of research and report generation.
- Implement AI-driven solutions to streamline data analysis and improve insights.
- Provide training and support on AI tools to team members.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including procurement, to understand requirements and provide relevant vendor research.
- Develop high quality materials, presentations, and tools for communications with stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Coordinate and manage key meetings with stakeholders to discuss findings, reporting data; and manage action items.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for support inquiries.
- Develop service support material. e.g. FAQs, Information sheets, tools
- Implement best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of vendor research activities.
- Identify and propose opportunities to improve research methodologies and processes,
- Execute assigned initiatives to optimize vendor research operations.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Market Research, or related relevant field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in market/vendor research, market analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using leading analyst research sources and AI tools for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and tools such as Teams, Visio, PowerBI, and research tools. Able to work with AI tools such as CoPilot, agents, to support tasks and activities.
