Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Analyst with expertise in Medicaid Eligibility, specifically focusing on Non-MAGI (Modified Adjusted Gross Income) criteria. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of over 7 years in procurement, with extensive knowledge and experience in navigating the complexities of Medicaid eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the unique requirements of Medicaid Non-MAGI eligibility programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory guidelines
  • Vendor Management: Participate in the identification, evaluation, and selection of vendors and suppliers capable of meeting the specialized needs of Medicaid Non-MAGI programs. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to drive value, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors, including pricing, service levels, and performance metrics. Ensure that contracts comply with Medicaid regulations and contractual requirements, minimizing potential risks and liabilities
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to analyze procurement data and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and performance enhancement. Generate regular reports and insights to support informed decision-making by key stakeholders
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay abreast of changes in Medicaid eligibility regulations and guidelines, ensuring that procurement processes and practices remain compliant with applicable laws and standards. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Medicaid program managers, legal counsel, finance, and compliance teams, to ensure alignment and integration of procurement activities with overall organizational objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with a focus on Medicaid Eligibility, particularly Non-MAGI programs
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations and eligibility criteria, with experience in interpreting and applying complex regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of successful vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy development
  • Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM) are a plus
