Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Network Administrator to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This Contract-to-long-term position offers the opportunity to transition into an ongoing role based on performance. The ideal candidate will excel in providing IT support, managing network infrastructure, and leveraging Microsoft technologies to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional IT support to over 100 users across multiple office locations, minimizing downtime and ensuring high-quality service.
Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup, device configuration, and access management.
Administer and maintain Microsoft Suite, on-premises Active Directory, Intune, and Autopilot for effective system and device management.
Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and other essential networking equipment.
Troubleshoot network-related issues, apply patches, and ensure systems are secure and compliant.
Collaborate with leadership to align technology strategies with organizational goals while maintaining consistent support for end users.
Configure and manage HP switches and SonicWall firewalls for optimal network performance.
Conduct regular assessments and updates to maintain a reliable and secure IT environment.
Requirements
Expertise in Microsoft Suite and on-prem Active Directory.
Hands-on experience with Intune and Autopilot for device management.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Proven track record of supporting 100+ users across multiple locations.
Experience with user provisioning, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
2-4 years of relevant experience in network administration or a similar role.
Familiarity with HP switches and SonicWall firewalls is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of LAN, Cisco routers, and firewall technologies.
