Title: Business Analyst with PM Expereince- Private Equity Domain
Location: Manhattan, NY(onsite 5 days)
Duration: Long Term

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of the Private Equity domain to support our client s investment management and fund operations initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with investment lifecycle processes, portfolio analytics, fund accounting, and financial data systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Private Equity operations, reporting, and systems.
  • Participate in UAT, validate deliverables, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support for system enhancements and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with investment, finance, and technology teams to define business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Support the design and implementation of Private Equity management systems or tools (e.g., fund accounting, deal tracking, investor reporting).
  • Perform data analysis, create process flow diagrams, and prepare BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Financial Services industry.
  • Private Equity / Investment Management domain expertise is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, capital calls, NAV, and investor reporting.
  • Experience with tools such as eFront, Investran, or similar Private Equity platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
