Job Details

Soni Resources is seeking a Desktop Lead Support Technician to provide top-tier technical support to staff and consultants. This role ensures smooth IT operations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, contributing to a productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary escalation point for providing advanced technical support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, application, and peripheral issues.
  • Perform hardware refreshes, printer maintenance, and AV troubleshooting.
  • Manage IT assets, including procurement, tracking, and disposal.
  • Oversee system updates, software installations, and hardware upgrades.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding by preparing and configuring technical resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, inventory, and asset assignments.
  • Supervise the deployment of notebooks and end-user devices, manage technology rollouts, and coordinate hardware refresh cycles.
  • Mentor other deskside support analyst to foster skill development and best practices.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance support processes and team performance.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in technical support or customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and some Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and MDM solutions (Intune, JAMF, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • IT certifications (CompTIA, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.


Work Environment & Requirements:
  • 5 days onsite support required - King of Prussia
  • Office-based with occasional lifting of IT equipment (<10>


Compensation: $25 to $28 an hour
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
