Technical Product Owner - UX/UI - Contract - W2 Only (No C2C) - Remote

Remote for non-local candidates - EST & CST time zones.

Duties
As a member of our product and planning team, you will work with product stakeholders to determine the business and technology objectives for your assigned technical product(s). This highly technology and business-oriented individual will ensure the effective execution on internal and external projects, delivering the outcomes needed to support these lines of business. The Product owner will work with design, strategy and engineering to create a compelling vision culminating with delivery of a disruptive product to market that fits customer and business needs. This role will require excellent communication and organization skills to be the bridge between their Technology Team and the Business Stakeholders. Digital Product Owner must have p roven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role, with a strong background in design systems, UI/UX principles, and front-end development. Proficiency in managing large-scale projects involving reusable components, web technologies, and configuration libraries. Understanding of design system methodologies, including tokenization, theming, and component-driven architectures. This role specifically is for a product owner of Design System engineering team. Potential consideration for other products.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Manage Reusable UI-React Components : Oversee the development and maintenance of reusable UI-React components spanning across 400+ domains, ensuring consistency, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Lead Reusable Web Component Initiative : Spearhead the creation and deployment of reusable web components that will be leveraged enterprise-wide, promoting standardization and efficiency in development processes. Support and help adoption of it.
• Build Systems and Configuration Libraries : Collaborate with engineering teams to establish robust systems and configuration libraries for unit testing, accessibility testing, linting testing, and other quality assurance measures.
• Design System Tokens : Define and maintain design system tokens to facilitate seamless integration and consistency in UI elements and branding across platforms.
• Drive Rebranding and White Labeling with Dynamic Theming : Develop strategies and workflows for rebranding and white labeling our products using dynamic theming, ensuring adaptability and customization options for our clients.
• Manages the product backlog and drives priority through risk, value, learning opportunities and dependencies.
• Experience managing the execution of multi-channel web projects from inception through completion to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, error free and meet internal and external stakeholder needs.
• Agile/SCRUM experience specifically in Story/Acceptance criteria development.
• Utilizing applications like JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Analytics, and/or others.
• Be a core contributor during sprint planning and sprint review meetings, as well as participate in other traditional scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups.
• Comfortable in talking technology with developers while knowing how to translate the language to communicate shareholders.
• 5+ years of digital product and/or business website ownership or related experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Bachelor s Degree required, preference in Business or Technology
