Position - Business Analyst with Technical Writing background
Location - Chicago IL (Locals ONLY)
Duration - 6 months
We need a BA with technical writing background for a 6-month engagement, with a potential for extension. Below is a description of the skills needed. Business Analyst with Technical Writing background
Essential Functions:
Skilled in gathering technical policy, configuration, and standards requirements for laptop configurations.
Design and develop technical documentation needed for the supporting technical support team.
Work with current subject matter experts to gather information and specifications and use this information to create accurate documentation.
Document policies and processes for implementing software and hardware changes.
Skills Required:
7+ years experience in IT technical writing
5+ years Business Analysis experience in software delivery disciplines and activities (i.e., desktop build, testing, development)
3+ years experience in writing IT policy documents and process flows.
Demonstrate analytical and organizational skills by analyzing and documenting complex information structures involving configurations and workflows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work independently and self-manage tasks and time to balance and adapt to changing priorities.
Adapt communication language and style to varied audiences making use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and other Firm tools.
Skills Preferred
Experience in Change or Release Management.
Experience in desktop/laptop build and configurations.
