What You'll Be Doing:

The Global Legal Tech team plays a meaningful role in strategy, planning and operations of the Lilly Legal organization. The Business Integrator will serve as the liaison between the technical teams and the business partners. The strengths for this role include critical thinking and a good problem solving. This is coupled with possessing exceptional communication and organizational skills for planning, prioritizing, anticipating, replicating and being flexible.

The Business Integrator will ensure IT functional services and projects are delivered with quality, on time, on budget. The Global Legal Tech Team supports company critical solutions that enable our Legal business partners to support and protect Lilly's most essential assets.

How You Will Succeed:
  • Influence the various IT service providers/vendor's products, services, and technologies to align with the strategic directives of the assigned functional area
  • Direct accountability for ensuring operational excellence (ITIL) and Project Delivery Milestones and metrics are met for project in the functional or technology area.
  • Ensure the alignment of operational and project resources to establish commitments team members.
  • Prioritize improvements, service, and support initiatives for the service providers in the legal eDiscovery area.
  • Work with business partners, IT, and vendors to ensure projects and services are staffed and resourced appropriately.
  • Eliminate project hurdles so that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Ensure communications across Legal, IT, Quality and Service Providers.
  • Lead the release and deployment strategy for each legal system or project.
  • Ensure supported business areas achieve and realize value out of IT investments.
  • Work closely with IT quality representative to drive toward a high degree of quality, compliance, and regulatory standards in the delivery of projects and ensure compliance with data security standards for all appropriate systems.
  • Run technical resources/contractors that support area system solutions.
  • Maintain consistency to solution specific plans and procedures for system administration/security.
  • Lead vendor relationships and consistency to work you're doing, including support processes.
  • Partner closely with solution architect and enterprise architecture groups to define and implement the IT infrastructure needed to provide optimal performance and stability for accountable systems.
  • Ensure completion of CAPA related items including periodic reviews, access roster reviews, PI, and CI assessments, and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
  • Educate yourself, the team, and Leadership regarding trends and business strategies to anticipate change and in some cases lead change for the end user experience and the technology which is being delivered.

Your Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years' of industry experience as a business integrator
  • General skills in project planning, execution, implementation, and support.

What You Should Bring
  • Exposure to litigation e-discovery, Document Management, and Information Risk Management.
  • Experience supporting Legal business processes and technologies, with a focused understanding in the discovery space.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms (O365/Azure, AWS).
  • Restful API experience for integrations
  • Self-starter with high learning agility constantly evolving business needs, awareness of technical resources to meet the needs and vendor management for any unique skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Enthusiasm to try and explore new tech and present possible options to solve sophisticated business challenges.
  • Experience translating complex assignments with constantly evolving requirements into actionable plans and tasks.
  • Ability to present, communicate complex concepts, and influence, across varying levels of leadership and experience levels.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and enhancements while maintaining high levels of ongoing operations.
  • Experience with support of high availability environments (servers, storage & database) and complex disaster recovery systems.
  • Experience working in a high-production, deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively with external suppliers and vendors.
