Job Description

We are seeking a talented and resourceful ABBYY Vantage Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on developing, optimizing, and supporting workflows using ABBYY s OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, with a specialization in the ABBYY Vantage platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, a keen intellect for process improvement, and hands-on experience in document capture and data extraction solutions.

Key Responsibilities -

• Design, implement, and maintain workflows in ABBYY Vantage to automate document processing and data extraction tasks.
• Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for OCR-driven automation and improved workflow efficiency.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for internal teams to build ABBYY Vantage competencies.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for existing ABBYY workflows and solutions.
• Stay current with ABBYY product updates, best practices, and emerging trends in OCR technology.
• Document all solutions, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist in evaluating and integrating new ABBYY features or modules as they become available.

Qualifications -

• Experience with ABBYY OCR software, specifically ABBYY Vantage, is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of document capture, recognition, and data extraction concepts.
• Familiarity with workflow automation, RPA, or other document-centric technology platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to teach technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Experience with Javascript or equivalent scripting language
• Will likely need to create small custom scripts within Vantage, which only supports Javascript.
