Job Details
We are seeking a highly experienced Duck Creek Claims Consultant to join our team and support a leading client in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in Duck Creek Claims configuration, implementation, and integration, combined with a deep understanding of insurance business processes.
The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and client specific configurations of Duck Creek Claims modules to meet client-specific business needs.
- Work closely with business users and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Perform configuration, development, and unit testing activities within Duck Creek Claims.
- Support end-to-end integration with policy, billing, and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with QA teams for test planning, execution, and defect resolution.
- Participate in production support and issue resolution, ensuring smooth business operations.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and support staff.
- Drive best practices in Claims workflows, business rules, and service integrations.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features, upgrades, and enhancements within the Duck Creek platform.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in Insurance domain projects.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek Claims implementation and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Duck Creek Author, Express, and Policy/Billing integration.
- Experience in Duck Creek Upgrade and Migration projects (preferable).
- Solid understanding of P&C Insurance products, claims lifecycle, and business rules.
- Proficiency in working with XML, SQL, .NET, and SOAP/REST-based integrations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Claims API extensions configuration, DC integration triggers configuration and design/connectivity to client specific integrations
- Defining and executing unit tests
- Sound understanding of DC claims components - FNOL, Desktop, Financials, Party, workflow tools, scheduler etc
- Knowledge of claims business processes supported in DC claims application - FNOL, Investigation, damages and injury evaluation, estimation, adjuster assignment, vendor assignment, litigation, reserves, payments, claim closure etc
