Responsibilities
- Design and Architecture: Develop and maintain the architecture of data platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Implementation: Implement data solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure API, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
- Integration: Integrate various data sources and ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Optimization: Optimize data storage and processing to improve query performance and reduce costs.
- Security: Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and best practices.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor data systems for performance and reliability and perform regular maintenance and updates.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data technology and proactively propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on the Microsoft modern stack
- 15+ years relevant experience without degree
- Programming Languages: Strong skills in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Project Management: Experience in managing data projects and delivering results within timelines
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement cutting-edge data solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other cloud platforms and data technologies.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure or related technologies.
