ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the solicitation, documentation, and acquisition of sign-off on business requirements from all finance functions including technical accounting, treasury, tax, investments, and financial accounting, specifically focused on the collections and disbursements module (CD.)

Serve as the primary liaison with the SAP development, configuration, and quality assurance teams for the implementation and IT testing of the approved design.

Organize the creation and execution of a comprehensive inventory of UAT test cases with a focus on the efficient use of the testers time. Coordinate around their other responsibilities.

Maintain knowledge of the Collections and Disbursements module (CD) functionalities, including broker reports, incoming and outgoing payments, account maintenance, installment plans, auto clearing, dunning and interfacing data to (CD.)

Execute additional tasks as delegated, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.

The selected candidate must work in one of the indicated Sompo offices at the time of onboarding. If the candidate is not already local, they must complete their relocation within a few weeks after onboarding. We will not consider remote candidates for this role.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in the implementation of SAP financial applications including the Collection and Disbursement Module (CD) with all sub-components.
  • 4+ years in the Insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP S4/HANA GL and the differences versus the ECC version.
  • Proven business acumen, to engage users and understand their underlying requirements.
  • GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Success in virtual collection and finalization of business requirements, with cross-functional working groups.
  • Ability to handle demanding workloads and balance multiple priorities to meet objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • Master s degree in accounting, Finance of Information Systems management /or MBA highly preferred.
