FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

Location: Remote (Candidate with security clearance preferred)

Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements. Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required for each task.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS with at least five (5) years of experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• IC Agile Certification
• Relevant AMPS roles prior to PoP start
• Relevant DLA experience
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs and objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Evaluate existing business processes and systems, identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions for optimization.
• Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes, including testing, training, and documentation.
• Support project management activities, including developing project plans, tracking progress, and managing risks.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in business analysis and data analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide support to various business initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Min 5/10 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role is preferred.
