We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst with a strong track record in the Commercial Analytics Pharma domain to support the commercial operations, product launches, and data-driven initiatives of our client. This onsite role requires a well-rounded professional with deep domain expertise, exceptional requirements elicitation skills, proven collaboration across cross-functional teams, and strong stakeholder engagement.
The candidate will serve as an important link between the business and technology teams, helping deliver impactful solutions that will add value to the business.

Type of Employment: Contract (C2C, 1099, W2)
Key Result Areas and Activities:
Domain Expertise
Bring deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations including sales performance, market access, medical affairs, digital engagement etc.
Analyze commercial data sources and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
Contribute to product launch readiness by defining data and reporting requirements aligned with brand and market strategy.
Requirements
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, etc.) and technical teams.
Translate business goals into functional requirements and/or user stories
Define and document business requirements (BRDs, user stories)
Define acceptance criteria for each user story and ensure all intake requirements are met
Work with business stakeholders to prioritize backlog enhancements based on business value, effort and need by date.
Conduct stakeholder workshops, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management to ensure adoption of new systems or enhancements.
Facilitate requirement refinement sessions with data architects, reporting team, SME, and data owners.
Cross Functional Collaboration between multiple stakeholders like data teams, reporting teams, business, and data owners as required
Stakeholder Management
Build strong working relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
Provide clear and proactive communication of requirements, timelines, and risks.
Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by offering industry best practices and process improvement recommendations.
Help grow customer networking beyond the day to day work. Identify and pitch new opportunities for growth
Work and Technical Experience:
Strong functional knowledge and experience in Commercial Analytics in areas like Market Access, Digital Engagement, Market Affairs, Patient Services, Drug Launches etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with business product owners and users to understand data and analytics requirements for Commercial business areas
- Strong understanding of agile methodology and ability to convert business requirements into implementation ready Epics and user stories
- Well versed with using Jira
- Hands on knowledge with data querying, data analysis, data mining, reporting and analytics will be a plus
- Familiarity with Tools like Power BI, Snowflake, Oracle DB will be a plus
- Willing to work in US EST time zone (half day or more overlap will be preferred)
Must Have
Strong functional knowledge and experience in Commercial Analytics in areas like Market Access, Digital Engagement, Market Affairs, Patient Services, Drug Launches etc.
Demonstrated ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into functional specifications
Able to manage own workload with minimal direction
Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to clearly and succinctly express ideas
Good To Have
Experience with Business and data analysis in Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master s degree is a plus)
Demonstrated continued learning through one or more technical certifications or related methods
10+ years of experience as Business Analyst
