The Multi-Domain Solutions Division is seeking a Digital Signal Processing Engineer in Las Cruces, New Mexico to research, design, and develop signal and image collection, and processing and dissemination systems. The DSP engineer will design and develop prototype solutions to exploit digital signals, tailoring those tools and techniques to successfully prosecute targets as required by mission operations. Candidate will be responsible for entire solutions to complex technical problems spanning multiple technical areas.
The candidate will join a team of developers that in aggregate across the enterprise employ geolocation theory to improve systems geolocation performance. He or she will develop tools for precision geolocation using cross-aperture collection involving multiple types of sensors, exploit and incorporate other new sources for use in geolocation tasking and conduct proof-of-concept experiments and feasibility studies of innovative signals processing techniques to distinguish and exploit gaps in current technology and the realm of feasibility.
The candidate will interface with program, and lab leadership regarding critical matters impacting the lab, as well as project managers, systems engineers, and software developers across various disciplines on a regular basis, so good communications skills are a must. Candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organization and leadership skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Employ geolocation theory in development of new tools to improve system geolocation performance.
- Develop highly innovative solutions through research and integration of DSP best practices.
- Support enterprise lab efforts to innovate in digital signals exploitation and geolocation.
- Support enterprise lab efforts to exploit and incorporate other new sources for use in geolocation tasking.
- Leverage knowledge to support DSP R&D product engineering, operations support and transitions to limited and baseline operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience, or a Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to incorporate best practices in support of DSP activities.
- Knowledge and experience in COMINT, ELINT, and /or FISINT collection and processing
- Expertise in signal processing, community-wide collection, and ability to effectively communicate to engineers and analysts to drive limited operational solutions and drive further tasking.
- Experience across a wide range of different RF signal types.
- Experience or familiarity with AI/ML techniques applied to improve/optimize DSP.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are required, as well as the ability to maintain professionalism in a diverse customer environments.
- Must possess an active TS security clearance at a minimum with a current polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with virtualized infrastructure environments (VMWare or equivalent)
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and other cloud-based platforms
- PKI management and user authentication SIGINT processing experience
- Familiarity with synthetic aperture radar data and willingness to learn more
- Knowledge of SIGINT, GEOINT, and analysis experience.
- Knowledge of X-MIDAS software
- Security+ certification
