We are seeking highly motivated Cloud Engineers to join our National Intelligence Program supporting the operations, maintenance, and enhancements of a complex, hybrid on-premises and cloud enterprise IT environment. The Cloud Engineers will collaborate with developers, system administrators, scrum masters, testers, and customers to define requirements, design, develop, and deploy applications into a cloud or hybrid cloud-based solutions. This position is responsible for the end-to-end cloud deployment experience, from concept development to deployment. The Cloud Engineers will also require providing support and troubleshooting issues with existing production cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Researching, designing, developing and/or modifying AWS cloud systems.
- Engineering, configuring, testing, and implementing cloud services to support web applications and the hosting environment.
- Proposing new cloud services that can be leveraged to benefit the customer's applications.
- Ensuring the implementation of all cloud services is being performed in accordance with industry best practices.
- Ensuring the implementation of all cloud services is being performed in accordance with customer's required security controls and security best practices.
- Ensuring the implementation of all cloud services is being performed in the most cost-efficient manner possible.
- Writing scripts to configure, implement, and leverage cloud services.
- Working with software developers and system administrators to troubleshoot issues within cloud environment and services.
- Working with other customer organizations to activate, configure, or troubleshoot cloud services.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Possess an AWS Certification such as Solutions Architect, Cloud Solutions Architect AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator (Associate), Certified DevOps Engineer, or Big Data (Specialty).
- 5 to 8+ years' experience with utilizing Amazon Web Services to create cloud-based applications such as (but not limited to) Lambda, SWF, SNS, SQS, Elasticsearch, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, S3, RDS, and Bedrock.
- 3 to 5+ years scripting experience using JSON, PowerShell, or other coding.
- 5 to 8+ years relevant cloud engineering experience.
- 3 to 5 years systems/software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
Desired:
- Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions similar to AWS or Elastic MapReduce.
- Possess CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience supporting highly distributed applications.
- Experience leading cross-functional technology team.
- Knowledge of Agile software development.
