Senior Business Analyst Finance, IT Full Time
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, define system and process requirements, and deliver strategic solutions that drive efficiency and insight. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in business analysis practices, with the ability to establish and execute them across Finance initiatives leading process mapping, design sessions, requirements elicitation, and testing facilitation.
Job Functions:

• Partner with Finance leadership and stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into actionable business and system requirements.
• Lead process mapping, design workshops, and requirements elicitation sessions, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Analyze current Finance processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements and technology solutions.
• Manage 2 resources
• Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including business cases, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and vendors to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
• Support testing phases by facilitating test case creation, coordinating UAT, and validating that delivered solutions meet business expectations.
• Provide analytical insights, feasibility assessments, and impact analyses to support project planning and prioritization.
• Drive consistent application of Business Analysis best practices, ensuring quality, traceability, and stakeholder alignment throughout project lifecycles.
• Serve as a liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring transparency, clear communication, and successful change adoption.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally supporting Finance or Accounting functions.
• Proven experience implementing and executing core Business Analysis practices, including process mapping, requirements management, stakeholder facilitation, and testing coordination.
• Invoice to Cash and/or Procure to Pay experience would be a big plus
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; able to translate complex business issues into actionable requirements.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials) or Finance applications preferred.
• Certification or training in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA) preferred.
• PMO or project delivery experience is a plus.
