Project Manager Medicaid Program Integrity Case Tracker (PICT) System Modernization

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid Onsite Mondays & Tuesdays, Remote Wed Fri)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the modernization of the Program Integrity Case Tracker (PICT) System the legacy case management platform for multiple divisions
This initiative aims to deliver a modern, scalable, and efficient case management solution supporting enhanced functionality and future adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale enterprise IT projects using Agile (Scrum) methodology.

  • Oversee design, development, and implementation of the new PICT system.

  • Develop detailed project plans, charters, and documentation.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and barriers.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings and deliver updates to leadership.

  • Ensure SDLC deliverables align with business and technical requirements.

  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships across technical and business teams.

  • Provide knowledge transfer to internal staff and ensure long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of Project Management for large-scale enterprise implementations.

  • 8+ years managing State of Texas or similar federal/state projects.

  • Development background with understanding of SDLC processes.

Preferred:

  • PMP Certification (Proof may be required)

  • Experience with Agile (Scrum) frameworks.

  • Knowledge of State of Texas Project Delivery Framework (PDF).

  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, and State Procurement/Contracting.
