Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Omaha, NE. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Ciena NGO DWDM transport planning and node deployment to be considered.
Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour

Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement technical solutions that meet project and operational requirements.
- Analyze and resolve system or infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support planning, execution, and delivery of engineering initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and documentation to ensure successful and compliant execution.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system efficiency and innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 6-8 years of experience in infrastructure planning and deployment, particularly in HVAC and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to create detailed planning packages and manage node expansions and equipment changes.
- Strong technical knowledge of Ciena NGO DWDM transport systems and experience coordinating cross-functional deployment efforts.
