RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Durham, NC that is seeking a Database Administrator who will be accountable for project level database deliveries and provide database production support. This person will use their DBA technical knowledge to translate the project requirements by designing and implementing the appropriate database technology solution. The Database Administrator must be ready to work in a fast paced, pressured and highly ambiguous environment with new technologies and high business risks.
REQUIREMENTS:
* In-depth hands on experience of the concepts, architecture and administration of Oracle database and replication technologies such as Golden Gate
* Must have worked in an Agile environment and utilize Agile practices to prioritize and drive business value for our partners
* Familiarity and awareness of implementing and supporting databases in an AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment.
* Able to drive technology product lifecycle management and deliver cross dependency application database infrastructure initiatives
* Working knowledge of Snowflake Database Platform
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
